Press-On Nail Wear Test Method & Evidence Log
Purpose: This page documents how Nails On Studio, as the maker of the tested sets, records real-world press-on nail wear. It separates observed results from marketing claims and prevents incomplete tests from being presented as finished evidence.
Product baseline recorded before each test
- Set name, product URL, size, shape, and length
- Test start date and the person conducting the test
- Material and any 3D decorations used on the tested set
- Adhesive used and the exact preparation method
- Day-0 close-up photos in consistent lighting
Daily-use record
Each entry records hours worn, normal work and household activities, water exposure, any unusual impact, comfort, and whether a nail was removed or reapplied. We do not treat different adhesives or preparation methods as directly comparable.
What is measured
- Surface wear: visible scratches, loss of gloss, or finish changes
- Color and decoration: visible color change, lifting, or loss of 3D elements
- Adhesive performance: edge lifting, movement, or full detachment
- Structure: cracks, bending, or breaks
- Comfort and fit: pressure, snagging, or activities that became difficult
Evidence schedule
- Day 0: fit, application, and baseline photos
- Day 3: close-up comparison and activity log
- Day 7: wear, adhesion, and comfort notes
- Day 14: end-of-cycle condition and removal observations
- Extended tests: monthly photos only when the same set is genuinely reused and tracked
Current verified product information

- Kits include application essentials such as sticky tabs, a nail file, and cuticle tools.
Results not yet claimed
We are not currently publishing a universal wear duration, a six-month durability rate, a fixed reuse count, or material-thickness measurements. Those details will be added only when the relevant test log, dates, measurements, and comparison photos are complete.
How results will be published
Every completed report will identify the tested set, adhesive, preparation, activities, test length, limitations, and photo dates. Negative findings—such as lifting, surface wear, snagging, or a lost decoration—will be included rather than removed.
